Each situation is different. While it can be difficult to estimate the amount of time and expense of getting a divorce, seeking a modification, or other family law need, a good estimate of time and costs can be provided.

Our rates and fees are competitive and ensure that you receive a level of individualized attention and responsiveness.
 

Initial Consultations

In order to provide an accurate assessment of your situation and an estimate of the expected time and costs, an initial consultation with an attorney is necessary. There is a $300 fee for the initial one-hour consultation.

In order to get the most out of the initial consultation, we’ve created an initial intake form that will help us get to know you, your situation and communicate what we believe are realistic outcomes.
 

Rates and Billing

Before we begin representation, we require an initial retainer and a signed fee contract. The initial retainer depends on the case, and is quoted during your consultation with an attorney. We then bill our time against that retainer.

If and when the retainer is close to being depleted, we may require an additional retainer.

Once we begin our representation, we bill our time hourly and our rates vary among our personnel. Lawyer’s rates range from $300 to $400 per hour.

Paralegals and support staff are billed at lower rates ranging from $85 to $150 per hour depending on their experience level. Whenever appropriate, we will seek to have the other party reimburse you for your attorney’s fees and costs.
